Condoms are so easy to use … If you follow a few really simple instructions it will increase the pleasure of your experience and further decrease the chance of breakage. Also, take a second to have a look at the shape information on the product selector this will help you choose the Ansell product that is best for you !!!

Just remember you don't have to wait till you have finished tearing your partners cloths of to try and put on a condom for the first time... Try it alone a couple of times so you get used to it… That way there will be less pressure and you will save those embarrassing moments later.

TIPS FOR YOUNG MEN

  1. If you or your partner are using any ointment or medicines in the genital area, check with a chemist (or doctor) that these are suitable to use with condoms.
  2. Open the wrapper carefully so as not to damage the condom before you use it.
  3. The condom will only unroll 1 way. Do not fully unroll the condom before use. Check that the condom is the right way up.
  4. Always put the condom on before the penis comes into contact with the partner’s genital area and only when the penis is hard and erect.
  5. Gently squeeze the tip of the condom between the thumb and forefinger (to push out air and to make room for the semen).
  6. Roll the condom down over the whole length of the erect penis.
  7. Carefully apply a generous amount of water based lubricant such as Ansell Personal Lubricant before and during sexual intercourse. Do not use oil-based lubricants (such as baby oil) with these natural latex condoms.
  8. After sex, and while the penis is still hard, carefully withdraw the penis from the partner’s genital area. Hold the rim of the condom, at the base of the penis, whilst withdrawing to prevent any spillage of semen.
  9. Discontinue use and refer to a doctor if a burning or irritation is experienced by either partner, or if condom breakage occurs.
  10. Use the condom once only. Wrap the used condom and put it in a rubbish bin.
  11. Store condoms in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight.
  12. Don’t return used condoms to the distributor through the mail.
